Food Network

Food Network asked us to create a holiday promotion for all their baking shows that was unique, festive, unexpected and food focused. We put our heads together and came up with something pretty special to be featured across all media channels including TV broadcast.

The Gingerbread Brownstone

This holiday spot dives into the festivities of four different families on a gingerbread city block. Subtle and clever camera movements into each of the gingerbread scenes bring the magic of the holidays to life. Inspired by the Night Before Christmas and made of entirely food, we labored over each detail to create this deliciously sweet spot for Food Network narrated by Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman.

Behind the Scenes

Yes, this set is made of food! It was built by a fabricators, bakers, decorators, food stylists, prop stylists, designers, miniature artists, sculptors, and welders that I hired and assembled. My roles for this TV production were from inception to final delivery (pre-production, production, and post-production). My titles ranged from Creative Director, Illustrator, Designer, Art Director, and Producer. The best way to really see the true collaboration come to life is in the Behind the Scenes Video shared below:

Split Screen

Bolt camera movements were carefully pre-programmed with precision so that we could travel throughout the brownstone in one seamless take.
