Initially hired as a Senior Designer at Quirky to help run product launches from ideas to manufacture, I was quickly promoted to Design Director of the Product Team and led the team in various categories including Home, Kitchen, Cosmetics, Pets, and Toys with crucial partnerships with GE, Mattel, and Harmon Kardon. Because of my combined background in consumer products and innovation, I oversaw hundreds of product launches and ran the Powered by Quirky partnerships along with my Co-Director.
Invention Powerhouse
This is no ordinary office, it’s an invention factory. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped prototyping shop, complete with cutting-edge tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, a CNC machine, paint booth, sewing room, and a wood shop. It's a designer's paradise, the ideal spot to transform imaginative ideas into tangible inventions. We didn’t just create new ideas, we built them from scratch.

We proudly put the spotlight on our brilliant inventors, showcasing their incredible ideas on our website, national press, social media, and in-store displays. Their stories not only sell products but also inspire countless others to unleash their creativity and join the ranks of real inventors like you. Behind each product lies a fascinating journey of invention by someone like us, and the Quirky team to develop it into a reality. I was responsible to engage with the community weekly to keep them informed and involved along the creative design journey.

Quirky partners with some powerhouses to help reinvent in their categories. From air conditioners to piggy banks, Quirky worked quickly to bring these unique ideas to market at record speeds while attracting new customers to these established partners. My role was was to help identify and spark potential partnerships by leading the design team by evolving the ideas into proof of concept through design sketches, research, and design.
